Social Discoveries (K-6th grade)
Does your child have difficulty building relationships with peers or trying new things?
Is she interested in making friends, but struggles to initiate and keep friendships?
Does your child get frustrated when things don't go their way?
Is he struggling with communicating his needs or wants to others?
If you answered YES to any of the questions, then this group might be just what your child needs!
Some kids need to learn how to stay cool when they are frustrated; some kids need help connecting with peers; and some kids need both. We match children and build our curriculum based on the age, goals, strengths, needs and interests of children enrolled.
SOCIAL DISCOVERIES is for children that have strong verbal skills, but can be inflexible and struggle with building positive and meaningful relationships with peers. In this class, we help kids improve their emotional regulation skills as well as develop skills necessary for making positive connections with others.
