Girl Connections (3rd-8th Grade)

Does your child struggle with making friends?

Do they worry about school, friendships, and other things in life?

Do they find it difficult "fitting in" without masking and people pleasing?

If the answer is YES, then this group might be just what your child needs!

This is a specialized inclusive group for neurodivergent girls in grades 3-5 and 6-8. This group focuses on unique challenges faced by girls before and during their transition to middle school and deal with changing friendships, bullying, puberty, "school drama", peer pressure, social media world, increased academic pressure, etc. In this group, children come together to support each other, build meaningful connections with peers, develop healthy self-image,  and learn to navigate their own emotions. The goal is to create a safe and inclusive space to allow group participants to communicate and connect in a positive and meaningful manner.

HANDLING CONFLICT WITH PEERS

DEVELOPING POSITIVE NEURODIVERGENT IDENTITY 

COPING WITH ANXIETY

MANAGING ANGER, SADNESS and OTHER DIFFICULT EMOTIONS

SELF-ADVOCACY and SELF-CARE SKILLS

TOPICS OFTEN DEVELOP ORGANICALLY TO INCLUDE SPECIFIC INTERESTS AND ISSUES OF THE PARTICIPANTS. GOALS AND TOPICS VARY BASED ON AGE AND GROUP NEEDS 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Children are assigned to groups according to age and individual needs and goals. There are 3-8 children in each group with age range of 2-3 years. Groups run in 12-week sessions and each group is 50 minutes long. New members may join up to week 8 of the current session. Free intake is required prior to enrollment. 

GROUP RATES:

Intake is FREE

Weekly payments - $55 per week

10% discount if pre-paid for 6+ weeks at a time

Pay for 11 weeks, get 12th week free

*groups are not covered by insurance.
