Girl Connections (3rd-8th Grade)

Worries about school, friendships, and other things in life?

If you answered YES to any of the questions, then this group might be just what your child needs!

This class is offered to children in grades 3-5 and 6-8. This class focuses on unique challenges faced by kids as they transition from grade school to middle school and deal with changing friendships, bullying, puberty, school drama, peer pressure, social media world, increased academic pressure, etc. In this class, children come together to support each other, build positive relationships, develop healthy self-image, learn to navigate their own emotions and interact successfully with peers.

HANDLING "FRIEND DRAMA"

COPING WITH ANXIETY

MANAGING ANGER, SADNESS and OTHER DIFFICULT EMOTIONS

LEADERSHIP AND SELF-CARE SKILLS

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Children are assigned to classes according to age and individual needs and goals. There are 3-8 children in each class with age range of 2-3 years. Classes run in 4 to 8-week sessions and each class is 50 minutes long.

GROUP RATES:

Weekly payments - $50 per week

10% discount if pre-paid for 4-8 weeks at a time

*classes are not covered by insurance.
